Andy,

I came across your music about a year ago and just listened to Godspeed again this evening. This song is so right on for Rick McGee. I am very sorry about his passing. I hope all is well with you and please do more great music.

Having never heard of Andy Budd before, I picked up a cd at the Warrenton Father's Day antique car show where the Monterey was displayed. Both the music and the lyrics were wonderful, and I played it all afternoon. I often get bored by themes of young composers, but Andy Budd has seen a lot of life and articulates its richness--both humor and sorrow-- as well as the cars. Thank you so much. I will be passing your name on to my friends.

I would like to say thank you very much for your music CD. I downloaded it on my ipod and have listened to the entire CD. WOW, it is absolutely awesome. It made me laugh, and even caused me to jerk a little tear, truth be told !! I enjoy various forms of music, and your style is amongst my favorite. You did a phenominal job on producing it, and it is giving me much listening pleasure while I am 8000 miles away in a pretty hostile environment. I will say however, there is something that I noted that is even more awesome; that is the fact that you are donating the proceeds to Habitat for Humanity and the Boys and Girls club of Fauquier County. I am aware of the many contributions that you have made to our community and I am grateful for folks like yourself who are truly a rare and dying breed. As you say in one of your songs, giving is better than taking; you personify this attribute. Thank you for doing all that you do.

I love all the CD's! But, my favorites on the latest one are Old Freight and Ragtop Monterey! Great songs! Keep on writin' and recordin'. I'll be looking forward to the next CD!

Thanks for this latest CD - I just happened to hear a clip of you on cd baby, and ordered it on a whim. I'm not even a big country fan, but I love good music, and this certainly is! I quote your lyrics to my friends: "she gave away his gun rack, and sold his favorite chair. Now he's living with the stink of scented candles in the air." Make more music. Come to Austin!

Andy Budd is definitley a man who can focus and aspire on a multitude of people and grab their attention, by his God given gift of making folks listen verbally and by being a musician. I always knew that there was something magical about Andy...and now I know what it is. That he holds a great talent of writing his own music & lyrics, with a voice to charm everyone of all ages. Can't wait to hear your upcoming CD!

Excellent job on the writing!

You continue to improve and impress me with your abilities. This coming from a country music fan since I was a young child.

Continue to pursue Nashville with the same passion you write with and I know I'll be listening to one of your songs on the local radio, satalite and live in a concert before long.

Andy Budd and Trent Jeffcoat?....a match made in heaven! I'm speechless for once. I've listened to these songs a hundred times and loved each one but Trent has added something that was missing that I never knew was missing: another man's interpretation; another man who feels the songs the way they were written: with emotion of the heart. I don't know Trent but I already love him like a brother....another brother??? yeah, there's room in my heart for one that sings my brother Andy's songs like that!!! Whew! ....I guess I was speechless , after all......just awestruck. Love you , Andy....and love you, too, Trent.

Danan Caldwell

September 12, 2009

Love the new music and lyrics! Trent Jeffcoat has a great voice ... why, he may be the next big country star and singing your awesome songs. Expect to see you both at the Grammy Awards! "64 Shortbed" should be Chevy's next commercial! Have to say though...my personal favorite is Ride That Ol' Freight - this ole body just can't sit still and it never fails to put a smile on my face! Andy, thanks for the music! Keep the songs comin' Love ya, Danan

Andy....love your music! Who knew you were so talented! Of course it has been 30 plus years since I have seen you. Sounds like you have done real well for yourself. I can honestly say I have had a real blessed life as well...married 27 years with 3 kids, one married and 2 in college. I have been lucky to stay home with the kids and do all the volunteer work, PTA, running around, etc. Frank was in the Marines and then went into commercial real estate for for 20 years. He was very successful. He is now retired and works full time with Habitat for Humanity. I still stay busy with volunteer work at church (love my high school kids), tennis, running , gardening, travelling, mission trips, part time "fun" job, etc.

Do you ever tour with your music? Great to see you are doing well.
